Shonan Focus specialises in photography and visual content production.
Based in Kamakura, we operate throughout Japan.
We provide comprehensive photography services, from planning and shooting to final image delivery and printing. We work with corporate, institutional, and private clients, offering professional visual content that supports brand identity and communication, as well as event and editorial photography.
Shonan Focus previously known as Studio Kilala, was founded in 2008 by photographer and creative director, Bruno Chapiron.
General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS)
1. Booking and Payment
Any booking is confirmed upon payment of a 30% deposit for photographic services.
The remaining balance must be paid on the day of the service.
2. Validity of the Quotation
Quotations are valid for 90 days from the date of issue.
3. Cancellation
• The deposit paid is non-refundable, regardless of the date of cancellation.
• Any costs already incurred with third-party service providers are non-refundable under any circumstances.
4. Liability
Shonan Focus undertakes to provide a professional, attentive, and personalized service. However, its liability cannot be engaged for disruptions beyond its control, including but not limited to weather conditions, transportation issues, or local authority decisions.
5. Client Delay
In the event of a client delay exceeding 30 minutes without prior notice, the service may be shortened without refund or canceled if the scheduled time slot can no longer be reasonably used.
6. Image Rights
Photos or videos may be taken during certain services. Unless otherwise stated in writing by the client, the client authorizes Shonan Focus to use these images for promotional purposes (website, social media, portfolios, etc.). No images will be published without respect for image rights and personal privacy.
7. Insurance
Shonan Focus declares that it is covered by professional civil liability insurance. The client acknowledges that participation in the services is undertaken at their own responsibility, particularly regarding physical condition, behavior, and compliance with safety instructions provided during the service.
8. Amendments to the GTCS
Shonan Focus reserves the right to modify these General Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time. The applicable GTCS are those in force on the date of booking.
9. Acceptance of the GTCS
The client acknowledges having read these General Terms and Conditions of Sale prior to confirming any booking. The signing of a quotation or the payment of a deposit constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these GTCS.
